Job summary

MasTec, via Phoenix Industrial/MasTec Industrial, is seeking an Ironworker Foreman to lead a crew in planning, lay-out, installation and alignment in accordance with plans, specs, tolerances and codes. You will supervise journeymen and craftsmen, drive safety, productivity and quality on industrial construction sites.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience, supervisory background, and NCCER certification preferred.

Qualifications

4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
NCCER Certification/License (preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience in supervisory role

Responsibilities

Identify safety hazards employees may be subject to and take corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
Plan, lay out, install and align according to plans, specifications, tolerances, industry standards and codes.
Direct and supervise the journeyman and craftsmen under supervision and motivate the crew to accomplish work safely, productively, correctly, and efficiently.
Coordinate with other crafts as requested by project supervision.
Ensure daily equipment inspections are performed by the crew and that safety protocols (LOTO, fall protection) are followed.
Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings; ensure performance goals are aligned and tasks are properly documented.
