Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks an Ironworker Leadman to direct a crew in planning, lay-out, installation and alignment in accordance with plans, specifications, tolerances, and codes. Lead journeymen and craftsmen to complete work safely, productively, and efficiently.

Responsibilities include identifying hazards, enforcing 100% tie off, and ensuring compliance with the contract. Willingness to supervise and train crews and ensure safe execution on site is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
• NCCER Certification/License preferred.
• Some supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise crew in planning, lay-out, installation and alignment.
• Coordinate journeyman and craftsmen to ensure safe, productive work.
• Identify safety hazards and take corrective action.
• Ensure crew follow plans and specifications and maintain qualifications.
