Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to manage daily crew activities and production according to project timelines, plans, and codes. This role involves overseeing other crafts as needed and ensuring safety and quality on site.

You will train staff on proper safety and procedural practices, monitor equipment, and maintain thorough reporting from site activities. Strong leadership and communication are essential for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize crew activities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to train safety practices and procedures.
• Experience coordinating safety, scope, and schedules with leadmen and crews.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including quantities, productivity, time sheets and management reports.
• May assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequencing of activities for the crew.
• Ensure completion of work within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
• Ensure crew safety and adhere to company and government safety rules.
• Lead toolbox talks and communicate safety concerns, work scope and plans to crews.
• Monitor compliance with company policies by all supervised employees.
