Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in Linthicum, MD, focusing on Open Architecture Radars with a mechanical/electro-mechanical background.

The IPT Lead will direct a multi‑discipline engineering team, transition designs to production, manage cost and schedule, and coordinate with systems engineering and program integration leaders while maintaining customer contact and ensuring technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or STEM-related field; 8+ years’ experience, or a Master’s with 6+ years’ experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Experience with front end design (FED), RF electronics, RF cabling, COTS procurement and testing, and system cabling.
• Experience with hardware design and/or hardware integration & test; moving hardware through factory processes.
• Demonstrated CAM activities and EVMS proficiency; scheduling experience.
• Ability to lead an IPT and communicate status to customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team transitioning designs to production for a priority program.
• Serve as the technical authority for hardware/software/support/test across program elements.
• Coordinate requirements development, design, verification, and validation.
• Ensure adherence to engineering processes and program baselines; maintain cognizance across IPTs.
• Communicate with customer and cross-functional teams; drive technical performance and risk management.
