Job summary

Lennox International is seeking a Manager, Inventory Control to lead accuracy and process discipline in a large distribution center. You will oversee receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and cycle counts, partnering with distribution operations, procurement, and finance to drive service levels and reduce shrink.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, system optimization, and continuous improvement in a multi-shift environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years in inventory control, distribution, warehousing, or supply chain in a high-volume setting
• Proven success leading inventory control teams in large, multi-shift, high-SKU environments
• Strong knowledge of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, root-cause analysis, KPIs, and best practices
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems (SAP, EWM, TM) and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory transactions across receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and adjustments.
• Lead cycle counting programs and physical inventory events for a broad mix of parts and service components.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and root-cause issues affecting fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory levels, replenishment, slotting accuracy, and product availability to support service levels.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to troubleshoot WMS/ERP issues and strengthen controls.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports and KPIs for leadership and continuous improvement.
