The Atlantic District in Fairfax is seeking a Lead Agent to balance high-level sales strategy with human-centered service. You will lead a sales team, develop outreach plans to grow our local policyholder base, and ensure clients have protection that fits their life stage.

You will also mentor junior agents, collaborate with leadership on service offerings, and maintain precise records. This role emphasizes community connections and a Fri-to-Mon schedule in a people-first environment.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Life and Health Insurance License.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in insurance sales.
• Proven ability to mentor junior agents and provide constructive feedback.
• Proficiency in managing client databases and using digital enrollment platforms.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of prospective leads.
• Capacity to build lasting community connections within Fairfax area.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team by example, setting a high standard for client interactions and closing techniques.
• Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to grow our local policyholder base.
• Conduct comprehensive coverage reviews to ensure clients have protection that fits their life stage.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to newer team members to help them hit milestones.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine local service offerings and business development strategies.
