Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an Instrumentation Foreman to plan, supervise, and coordinate installation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical systems across projects. The role involves daily crew planning, ensuring safety, and meeting schedules in a dynamic industrial environment.

Responsibilities include supervising multiple workers, reading blueprints, coordinating material delivery, and traveling to job sites as needed. NCCER certification is preferred; strong safety culture is essential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.
• Active participation in toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors.
• Set a personal example of safe behavior.

Responsibilities

• Interpret specifications and read blueprints.
• Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet job schedule.
• Monitor quality control of work in place by craft workers.
• Coordinate delivery of necessary materials and equipment.
• Ensure safety and PPE usage; train crew members in safe practices.
• Travel to different job sites on short notice.
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of craft workers; conduct performance reviews.
