Job summary

JT4, LLC in the United States seeks a Supervisory Instrumentation Engineer III to lead a team focused on airborne test instrumentation and data acquisition systems. Responsibilities include modification, installation, testing, evaluation, repair, and documentation across shifts.

You will supervise engineers and technicians, plan engineering steps, prepare reports, and interface with customers while developing budgets and mentoring staff. Must be US citizen and able to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with required years of experience.
• Master’s or Doctorate preferred for senior supervisory role.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Modify, install, test, evaluate, repair airborne instrumentation and data systems.
• Lead a technical group, schedule work, delegate tasks and report performance.
• Develop design specifications and perform engineering calculations.
• Use computer-assisted testing for laboratory investigations.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals.
• Interface with customers and coordinate test activities.
• Mentor section staff and contribute to budgeting and safety culture.
