Job summary

JT4, LLC in the United States seeks a Flight Test Instrumentation Technician Level III to maintain and support flight test systems on advanced fighter aircraft. You will conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modification, inspection, wiring, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and data acquisition gear.

The role requires strong electronics knowledge, soldering, and the ability to work in field environments, including shift work and travel to remote locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or technical schooling with electronics/microwave coursework; military equivalent with 7+ years hands-on experience.
• ISCET certification required.
• Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and high-power RF devices.
• Expert-level troubleshooting and soldering capabilities.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain flight test instrumentation systems on various fighter aircraft.
• Perform maintenance, modification, inspection, wiring, and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
• Fabricate, terminate, and repair cable harnesses and electronic assemblies.
• Use test equipment to checkout, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair systems.
