Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Supervisory Instrumentation Engineer III to lead the modification, installation, testing, and documentation of airborne test instrumentation and data acquisition systems. The role involves supervising engineers and technicians across shifts and interfacing with internal/external customers on test activities.

You will conduct technical work, develop design specifications, perform analyses, and mentor staff to maintain safety and compliance with JT4 and Air Force

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering from ABET-accredited institution and 4+ years of related engineering experience or an MS with 2+ years or a PhD in engineering.
• Mastery of engineering concepts enabling technical authority on projects.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and engineering tools.
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions for operational hardware/software.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Modify, install, test, evaluate, repair and document airborne test instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Lead a small engineering/technical team across multiple shifts; plan and track staff workload.
• Prepare design specifications and technical reports; present at in-process design reviews.
• Interface with customers and support proposals, scope of work, and cost planning.
• Ensure safety culture and compliance with JT4 and Air Force requirements.
