Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking an Instrumentation Design Engineer II to design, develop, test, install, and sustain electronic and mechanical systems for aerospace programs at Edwards AFB. You will work on a skilled team delivering advanced engineering solutions for government contracts.

Requirements include a BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and at least two years of related experience, with the ability to obtain a security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering or MS in Engineering required.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts and aircraft design.
• Ability to modify current or new designs to meet requirements.
• Experience with SolidWorks and related engineering tools.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, development, analysis or review tasks against deadlines.
• Plan engineering steps, run calculations, and resolve problems with standard practices.
• Prepare design specifications for complex projects and support smaller ones.
• Research technical information and assist higher-level engineers.
• Support design reviews and technical working group meetings.
• Provide mechanical design support for Global Power Bomber programs.
