Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Installer Service Specialist to support professional customers at the installer counter and oversee delivery coordination. You will process orders by phone and online, direct the delivery team, and ensure accurate, timely parts delivery.

The role requires a strong mechanical background and excellent communication. ASE certification and multilingual abilities (Spanish preferred) are highly desired. The position offers competitive pay and a robust benefits package.

• Strong background in mechanics.
• Above average communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales relationships with installers/professional customers.
• Take customer orders over the phone and online, invoice orders, direct parts picking and staging for delivery, and route delivery specialists to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards.
• Complete vehicle inspections daily and log mileages in fleet devices.
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists/Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service to professional customers.
• Verify all product/merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave the store.
• Ensure new core and warranty returns are picked up and credited promptly.
• Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and proper tagging/labelling.
• Assist on front and retail counters as needed; support backroom duties.
• Assist with customer labor claims to ensure quick processing.
• All other duties as assigned.
