Empire Today in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Installation Manager to lead a team and own the installation activities in the market.

You will oversee in-home and business-to-business flooring installations, ensuring product, materials, and independent contractors are allocated appropriately and that customers are prepared for installation. The role requires coordinating contractors, optimizing schedules, and maintaining quality and profitability while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience with installation operations and contractor management.
• Proficient with Microsoft tools and order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a recruiting strategy to locate qualified independent installation contractors.
• Foster relationships with installation contractors and coach them to improve performance.
• Oversee audit processes to ensure materials match sales proposals.
• Direct daily loading of opportunities and track progress in Empire Today systems.
• Allocate orders by priority based on contractor capacity and rating.
• Lead pre-load and post-load meetings with cross-functional teams.
