Job summary

The YMCA of Bethlehem is seeking a certified teacher to lead the Infant program. This full-time, hourly position in Bethlehem, PA runs Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm with a pay range of $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

You will design age-appropriate activities, foster a safe, inclusive classroom, and keep detailed records. A high school diploma and 2+ years of child experience are required; a degree in early childhood or a related field is preferred, and you must pass all required background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2+ years working with children preferred
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances
• Certified teacher with child-focused mindset

What is needed for this job

• High school diploma, Associate/Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field preferred
• Are 18+ and have 2+ years of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or familial capacity
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances
