Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance in factory environments. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, source parts, operate machine tools, and support CI initiatives while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates degree with a technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
• Operates multiple machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and may perform welding.
• Maintains 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drives CI activities and reviews CMMS history.
• Troubleshoots control systems and analyzes software/hardware issues.
• Uses predictive maintenance technologies to collect data.
• Mentors lower level technicians and supports training.
• Completes on-the-job and technical self-study for career development.
• Follows all safety policies and guidelines.
