Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery in a full-time role. The position requires leading small projects, diagnosing electrical/electronic issues, and repairing PLCs, with responsibilities spanning CapEx and CI initiatives.

A strong multi-craft background and technical certification are required. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in a high-demand food processing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills required.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in an industrial setting.
• Technical certification or demonstrated equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform MT 1 and MT 2 duties.
• Act as Lead or current role holder.
• Identify causes of electrical/electronic problems.
• Lead CapEx and CI projects from planning to execution.
• Monitor and address current or potential equipment issues.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures (PMO).
• Diagnose and repair PLCs and programmable devices.
• Provide cost and timeline estimates for breakdowns/improvements.
• Escalate breakdowns to managers if not resolved on time.
• Perform facilities-related tasks and other projects as assigned.
