Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment at a food manufacturing facility in Ohio. The role requires hands-on expertise with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and the ability to work independently within a maintenance team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, proficiency with PLCs and ladder logic, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• PLC troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
