Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods in Roanoke Rapids, NC is seeking a seasoned maintenance technician to perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery. You will diagnose issues, lead maintenance activities, and support CapEx/CI projects.

The role requires 5+ years' experience as a multi-craft industrial technician, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and proven troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proven advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery.
• Lead as a MT1/MT2 or current lead on initiatives.
• Diagnose causes of electrical/electronic problems.
• Lead projects from CapEx and continuous improvement perspectives.
• Monitor equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs and related devices.
• Estimate costs and timelines for breakdowns and improvements.
• Escalate breakdowns to managers if not resolved on time.
• Support facilities tasks and special projects as assigned.
