Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Senior Industrial Automation Technician to act as a technical authority for uptime and performance of complex automated machinery. You will drive reliability improvements and mentor junior staff to ensure seamless operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include diagnostics on conveyors, ASRS, PLCs, and servo systems; high-level troubleshooting; and leading root-cause analysis to reduce recurring failures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining automated industrial environments.
• Advanced proficiency in PLC diagnostics, servo systems, and industrial networking protocols.
• Expertise in high-voltage electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and mentor technical staff.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant technical training is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced diagnostics on automated systems to minimize downtime.
• Perform high-level troubleshooting on PLCs, VFDs, and servo-driven systems to maintain performance.
• Lead root cause analysis initiatives to identify recurring failures.
• Optimize preventive maintenance schedules to extend asset lifecycles.
• Interpret electrical schematics to resolve integration issues and support upgrades.
• Maintain records of repairs and modifications in the CMMS.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
