Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain reliable operation of heavy production equipment on the plant floor. You will apply expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues, performing precision maintenance on motors and gearboxes, and reading schematics to ensure accurate repairs and calibrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems and AC/DC motor drives.
• Strong understanding of high and low voltage electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues within hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to maintain peak production efficiency.
• Execute precise installations and preventative maintenance on heavy industrial equipment, including motors, gearboxes, and power supplies.
• Apply knowledge of 3-phase motor circuits and PLC troubleshooting to restore automated systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety protocols and optimize machine performance.
• Interpret technical schematics and manuals to perform accurate repairs and calibrations.
• Proactively identify potential equipment failures to prevent bottlenecks and maintain a safe work environment.
