Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Technician – Electrical & PLC to join its industrial manufacturing team in Cleveland. This role focuses on diagnosing electrical faults, servicing PLCs, and performing preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience with electrical control systems, PLCs, and automation components, and can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while following safety standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years in industrial maintenance within a production setting.
Advanced proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and industrial control systems.
Experience diagnosing and maintaining PLC-based systems.
Competency with VFDs, motors, sensors, relays, and control panel hardware.
Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Strong safety awareness and adherence to LOTO standards.

Responsibilities

Identify and resolve issues within industrial electrical and control frameworks.
Maintain and service PLCs, I/O modules, sensors, relays, motor starters, and automation components.
Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools to pinpoint malfunctions.
Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on plant machinery.
Repair and troubleshoot motors, drives, VFDs, and control circuits.
Analyze recurring failures to determine root causes and propose solutions.
Maintain logs and document repairs and preventive tasks.
Support installation, modification, and startup of new equipment.
Ensure safe operations following OSHA and electrical safety standards.
