Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Automation and Controls Systems Technician to support the reliability of our production infrastructure. You will troubleshoot PLCs, calibrate instruments, and lead upgrades to ensure high uptime and product quality.

Responsibilities include startup procedures, preventive maintenance, and meticulous documentation to comply with industry standards in a solvent-using manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Professional certifications such as CCST (Level 1), ISA, Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, or Licensed Journeyman Electrician.
• Demonstrated proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and industrial control systems.
• Strong understanding of GMP within a regulated production setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute startup procedures and routine performance analysis on utility and production support systems to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with PLC-controlled equipment and ensure integration across processes.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and ensure output quality.
• Calibrate instrumentation and control components to maintain high precision in automated environments.
• Lead installation and integration of new instrumentation, PLC upgrades, and system expansions.
• Document maintenance activities and system modifications for compliance with industry standards.
