Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Field Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure peak performance of fabrication machinery across multiple sites. You will proactively manage equipment health, troubleshoot rapidly, and directly impact production efficiency and uptime.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing complex failures, installing and calibrating assets, and mentoring site operators. Travel and on-call support are expected, with strict safety compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Deep technical proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose root causes of equipment failure in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities across multiple remote sites.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to extend the lifecycle of high-output fabrication machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical failures in automated welding systems, robotic cells, and PLC-driven equipment.
• Lead the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new production assets to ensure seamless integration into existing workflows.
• Develop and deliver specialized training modules to empower site operators with essential machine care and troubleshooting skills.
• Maintain rigorous documentation and technical libraries to ensure consistent maintenance standards across all regional facilities.
• Manage critical spare parts inventory to minimize equipment downtime and ensure rapid response to urgent repair needs.
• Travel frequently to various locations to provide hands-on technical support and serve as an on-call resource for critical system issues.
• Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations during all maintenance and repair activities.
