Job summary

Acosta Group’s Product Connections is seeking an Associate to execute in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You will manage the event kit, interact with consumers to showcase products, and maintain professional appearance and safety standards.

The role emphasizes effective communication, lead responsibilities in Supervisor’s absence, and collaboration with store staff. The role focuses on delivering engaging product experiences, complying with food safety guidelines, and documenting success

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Proficient use of PC and mobile devices with applications and internal systems.
• Food Safety Certification and Local Food handlers permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment, supplies, and backroom area.
• Coordinate with store management when Supervisor is absent about upcoming events.
• Serve, demonstrate, and present products to consumers in a professional manner.
• Lead and support the event team, providing knowledge to the group.
• Prepare food samples safely, using appliances like microwaves, fryers, and coffeemakers.
• Set up Event Table and ensure a clean, safe workstation during demos.
• Complete expense reports and on-line requirements on the same day as events.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet company objectives.
