Zusammenfassung

UG2 is seeking a Lead HVAC Mechanic to lead and perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of HVAC and building systems in a life sciences environment. You will guide HVAC technicians, manage work orders, and support critical environments with safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include leading diagnostics, preventive maintenance, system optimization, and coordinating with facilities, EHS, labs, and vendors to maintain environmental conditions and system

Qualifikationen

• Active HVAC license or certification as required by jurisdiction.
• Minimum of five years as an HVAC mechanic in life sciences, healthcare, or regulated facilities; leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with critical HVAC systems where environmental conditions must be tightly controlled.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and BAS.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC and control systems using diagnostic tools and docs.
• Familiarity with CMMS, BAS, safety codes, and documentation practices.

• Provide daily leadership, technical direction, and mentorship to HVAC technicians and maintenance personnel.
• Prioritize and review work orders to ensure timely, high-quality completion.
• Serve as primary technical resource for advanced HVAC troubleshooting and system optimization.
• Coordinate activities to minimize disruption to critical operations in labs and manufacturing.
• Oversee contractors, ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to procedures.
• Train team on equipment, procedures, preventive maintenance, and safety.
