Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Service Technician IV to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. You will lead up to 10 technicians, manage contract start-ups, and support sales with site surveys and estimates.

This role requires extensive HVAC experience, EPA Universal Technician certification, and a valid driver’s license. Denver onsite with local travel, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
• Rotational Emergency Call Support as required
• Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification required, as necessary
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead up to 10 HVAC Technicians
• Ensure timely and cost-effective start-up of maintenance contracts, and efficient and timely installation of jobs
• Review contracts/projects and negotiate subcontract agreements as required
• Utilize the Service Management System to establish an effective work plan
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspect equipment to ensure proper operation
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide coaching and leadership
• Support Sales with site surveys and reviewing estimates
• Promote safe work practices and OSHA compliance
• Provide timely feedback to reinforce results and reduce callbacks
• Participate in performance evaluations and training for technicians
• Stay current on Daikin Applied products and technology
• Regular local travel, with some overnight travel
