Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas in Denver, CO is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician III to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftops, chillers and boilers. The role involves mentoring junior technicians and may require some travel.

You will work onsite, uphold safety policies, maintain certifications, and participate in Daikin training to stay current with technology and standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
• Rotational Emergency Call Support as required
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification required, as necessary
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Service rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and related components.
• Lead Level I and II technicians through hands-on demonstrations.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other reports in a timely manner.
• Interact with customers and explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain safety standards and participate in Daikin training to stay current.
