Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration in Tempe, AZ. You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial settings, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will lead field teams, coordinate service calls, and support operations across multiple Walmart locations while adhering to company policies and focusing on reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in commercial HVAC/R
• 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance for commercial HVAC/R
• EPA Type I and II or Universal refrigerant certification
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass MVR
• Clean driving record with no major violations in last 5 years

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems per codes and standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues in commercial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to OSHA and EPA 608 protocols during service activities.
• Lead and mentor field teams and coordinate service calls.
• Manage service calls, paperwork, and inventory across regions.
