Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration in Carrollton, GA to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial settings. Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification or 4 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and building codes.
• Experience leading field teams and mentoring technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and control panels, ensuring compliance with codes.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues in commercial/industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration units, walk-ins, and HVAC systems to maximize longevity.
• Conduct regulatory inspections and ensure refrigerant handling compliance.
• Lead and mentor field teams, promoting safety and technical proficiency.
• Manage service calls, coordinate with external providers, and maintain records.
