Job summary

Walmart is seeking a skilled Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration to install and service HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial facilities. You will calibrate controls, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires HVAC/R certification and relevant field experience, with on-call rotation and opportunity to mentor junior technicians. Location is East Ellijay, GA with statewide service coverage.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification required, plus 2 years’ mechanical maintenance or construction-related experience.
• Alternatively, 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant handling certification required.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems including ductwork and control panels.
• Calibrates low ambient systems and direct digital controls to specs.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electrical/refrigerant issues on commercial/industrial systems.
• Maintains preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Leads field teams and mentors technicians and apprentices.
• Drives company vehicle and participates in on-call rotation.
