Job summary

CBRE HVAC Engineer position responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for a large manufacturing client, performing proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance. The role includes assigning tasks, installing and servicing building HVAC control systems, inspecting equipment, troubleshooting failures, and coaching teammates.

Shifts vary with some overtime and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required or equivalent experience.
• Refrigeration license or Universal 608 certification required.
• Commercial real estate maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
• Install, repair, calibrate, and maintain building HVAC control systems and equipment.
• Inspect HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and share knowledge across the team.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE values to build consensus.
