Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems, conducting proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance. The role supports preventive maintenance, repairs, and service within CBRE’s Engineering and Technical Services group.

Responsibilities include supervising tasks, installing and calibrating control systems, ensuring code compliance, and mentoring others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
• Install and maintain HVAC control systems and related instruments.
• Inspect and maintain building HVAC equipment for safe operation and codes compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and propose modifications.
• Share knowledge and coach others within the function.
