Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical/electrical equipment in complex commercial systems. You will perform proactive testing and scheduled maintenance, ensuring safe, compliant operation and helping sustain building performance.

The role involves directing tasks, mentoring team members, and applying in-depth HVAC knowledge to deliver innovative solutions while upholding CBRE’s standards and values in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
• Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems for HVAC/R; calibrate instruments and controls.
• Inspect and maintain building HVAC equipment for proper operation and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best corrective actions.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to complete complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values to build consensus.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies; explain difficult or sensitive information.
