Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems. You will perform proactive testing and scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal operation.

The role involves leading by example, coaching teammates, and delivering reliable service within CBRE’s RISE framework while complying with applicable codes and safety standards. A strong technical foundation and US work authorization are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4–5 years’ relevant experience.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC control systems and associated instruments.
• Inspect HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes and safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best modification approach.
• Apply standard principles to complete complex assignments and provide solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines.
