Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a HVAC Truck Based Mechanic Foreman Technical Team Lead to oversee field technicians, coordinate service delivery, and ensure safe, compliant operations at customer sites.

You will lead by example, mentor technicians, and drive quality outcomes during service calls. Responsibilities include directing day-to-day activity, performing maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and Building Control Systems, and providing Level 1 technical support while maintaining

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Demonstrated field leadership experience and ability to coordinate the work of other employees and contractors at customer sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Accurate documentation habits and strong customer-facing professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field activity for truck-based HVAC technicians and coordinate work at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and replacement of HVAC equipment and Building Control Systems.
• Provide Level 1 technical support and escalation for complex service issues.
• Coach and mentor branch technicians, supporting their technical development in the field.
• Support quoting, estimates, scheduling, service completion, and documentation.
