CBRE at a world‑class Life Sciences campus in Lexington, MA is seeking an HVAC technician to operate, maintain, and optimize complex building systems in a GMP environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, testing, and repairs to ensure safe, compliant facility operations.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, coaching peers, and applying deep knowledge of HVAC controls while aligning with CBRE RISE values. On-site, day shift, with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4–5 years related experience.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• Experience with Maximo or similar CMMS/work order system.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Analytical, problem-solving and good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a GMP environment and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
• Install, repair, adjust, service HVAC and control systems.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment for compliant operation.
• Troubleshoot failures and plan modifications.
• Apply standard principles to complex assignments and provide solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and foster CBRE RISE values.
• Impact customer, operations or service activities within teams.
• Respond to Work Orders in a CMMS.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information clearly.
