Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Engineer to support a high-profile aerospace manufacturing client in East Hartford, CT. The role focuses on operation, maintenance, and optimization of critical HVAC and electrical systems across a large campus, ensuring reliability, safety, and energy efficiency.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, troubleshoot equipment issues, and drive system improvements while coaching teammates and upholding CBRE's RISE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus 4–5 years of related experience.
• D2 License required or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
• Install, service, and maintain HVAC, electrical, and control systems in a large industrial facility.
• Inspect equipment for proper operation and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Coach teammates and share technical knowledge across discipline lines.
• Lead by example to embody CBRE RISE values and drive consensus.
