Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification required for handling refrigerants.
• 5+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
• Proficiency with air- and water-cooled chiller systems and monitoring systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution and control equipment.
• Understanding of Building Automation Systems (BMS) and low/controls voltage troubleshooting.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and lead projects.
• Analytical approach to problem-solving with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment across multiple sites.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain logs for boilers, chillers, and pressure vessels.
• Use CMMS to complete work orders promptly.
• Perform electrical maintenance including transformers and switchgear.
• Install or replace Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Monitor BAS for HVAC and electrical equipment and troubleshoot sensors/actuators.
• Evaluate new HVAC technologies and strategies; mentor colleagues.
