Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to supervise a team of engineers in hardware, software and network-level commissioning for projects. The role ensures compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards while driving cost-effective engineering and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will lead and develop processes, collaborate with major projects and branch teams, and advocate safety and quality throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate or Technical degree required; or equivalent work experience in HVAC controls (design/installation/commissioning).
• Experience leading engineers and teams in HVAC/control projects.
• Knowledge of control theory and building automation subsystems.
• Experience integrating low voltage building subsystems and interpreting technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced computer skills, including drafting tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Systems Engineering Team across hardware, software, and network level commissioning for projects.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal requirements and maintain high ethics in delivery.
• Develop processes for cost-effective engineering and reliable customer satisfaction.
