Johnson Controls in the United States is seeking a senior Systems Engineering leader to supervise hardware and software engineering and network commissioning for projects. You will ensure compliance with regulations and drive cost-effective delivery while mentoring engineers.

Work with Major Projects and Branch teams to meet specifications, manage project cost estimates, and uphold safety standards. This role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with eight+ years in application engineering.
• Experience in HVAC industry and programming controls.
• Supervisory experience of a technical/engineering group.
• Progressive responsibility in construction and cost management.
• Recognized expertise in core engineering competencies.
• Strong communication, oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a Systems Engineering team to perform hardware and software engineering and network commissioning.
• Develop processes for cost-effective engineering and on-time delivery.
• Provide advanced technical support and regional expertise in application engineering.
• Mentor and manage performance, career development, and team relationships.
• Ensure safety standards and collaboration with Major Projects and Branch teams.
