The role requires applying NESC, ASCE, ACI, and related standards, performing analyses, drafting bidding documents, and coordinating with clients, environmental, permitting, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years in design of electric utility transmission systems.
• Experience reviewing full transmission line designs including PLS-CADD models, foundations, and construction packages.
• Knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE code requirements; construction specifications; material procurement process; project schedules; and construction work packages.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals.
• Ability to work effectively in team environment but also able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of HV transmission lines 46kV–345kV for overhead and underground systems.
• Prepare bidding documents, plans, specifications, and procurement/construction documents.
• Interface with clients, project planning, environmental permitting, and construction management.
• Apply standards and perform engineering analyses.
