Job summary

GE Vernova Grid Solutions seeks a Lead Project Engineer with a strong background in FACTS project engineering to design, develop, and implement advanced power transmission systems in Saratoga Springs, Utah.

You will lead electrical equipment design for FACTS devices, coordinate with control and design engineers, conduct modeling and testing, mentor junior staff, and help with proposals while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience; FACTS experience desired.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (including international).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of FACTS equipment.
• Prepare equipment studies, specs, purchase requests, and vendor quotes.
• Collaborate with control, design, and project managers to execute projects.
• Model, simulate, and analyze electrical designs to optimize performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development.
• Test, validate, and ensure compliance with standards.
