Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Project Engineer in Saratoga Springs, NY, focusing on the design, development, and implementation of electrical equipment for Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS).

You will model, simulate, test, evaluate vendors, and mentor junior engineers to assure system performance and reliability, with up to 10% travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience with FACTS.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Strong knowledge of substation design, power systems and standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI, NEC, NESC).
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Windchill Imagine, Tableau, ATP, Python.
