Syngenta Seeds is seeking a Lead, HSE Territory to support NA Seeds Production and Supply sites. You will lead health, safety, and environmental programs, drive regulatory compliance and risk reduction across North America operations.

Responsibilities include building HSE culture, conducting audits, reporting metrics, leading investigations and enforcement actions, and advising leaders on improvements. The role requires strong collaboration across functions and up to 35% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or environmental issues (preferred)
• Experience with HSE auditing/management (minimum 3 years)
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and how they apply to agri-business
• Ability to interpret legislation for agribusiness contexts
• Ability to organize and conduct site HSE audits and risk analyses
• Strong communication and influence across stakeholders
• Ability to solve problems and identify risks
• Accurate reporting and data analysis
• Drive safety culture aligned with company ambitions
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage change
• Travel up to 35% to other sites as needed

Responsabilités

• Build a healthy HSE culture through relationship-building and risk mitigation.
• Know site operations, risks and regulatory applicability; participate in HSE plans and meetings.
• Conduct HSE risk assessments and self-assessments; ensure controls are implemented.
• Manage enforcement actions, notices of violation, and permit agreements.
• Submit required reports to local, state and federal agencies.
• Ensure conformance to regional/group HSE procedures; develop needed procedures.
• Oversee HSE training programs and maintain a training matrix.
• Advise leaders on compliance status and improvements needed.
• Contribute to monthly HSE metrics and reporting.
• Lead or participate in investigations and implement corrective actions.
