Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSE roles, with a proven track record in program management and leading corporate safety initiatives.
• Top Skills: Influential leadership, exceptional communication, deep HSE knowledge incl. US RCRA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and direct oversight for HSE programs across US and Canadian affiliates, including hazardous waste management for US warehouses.
• Drive, own and uphold the global transformation of the Affiliate HSE program with a fit-for-purpose framework aligned to Elanco's objectives.
• Establish and manage a system for tracking HSE performance and deliver data-driven reports to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement of safety culture through training, coaching and influencing affiliate management and HSE representatives.
• Collaborate with regional fleet managers to integrate HSE elements into the fleet program, ensuring driver safety and regulatory compliance.
