Job summary

Vertex Education seeks a Principal HRIS Analyst to lead and optimize Workday HCM, ensuring data integrity and efficient HR operations across the organization. You will supervise an HRIS/HR Analyst and partner with HRCS & VMS to drive improvements.

The ideal candidate combines Workday expertise with strong analytics, project leadership, and people leadership to support organizational goals and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HRIS experience with extensive Workday HCM administration.
• 2+ years of experience leading projects or supervising staff.
• Strong experience with Workday business processes, reporting, security, and configuration.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday HCM leadership and administration for Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, Performance, Absence.
• Manage system optimization, testing, maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements within Workday HCM.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and stakeholders to identify system needs and implement scalable solutions.
• Oversee Workday releases, assess impacts, and coordinate testing and deployment.
• Ensure security roles, workflows, and business processes align with policies and compliance.
