Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Lead, HRIS to own Workday and related HR systems across HCM, Talent Acquisition, Time and Absence, Payroll, and reporting. You will translate business needs into scalable HRIS solutions, strengthen data integrity, and support system enhancements and releases.

You will lead projects, manage security, develop dashboards, and provide escalation support, coaching analysts, and driving governance and SOX-ready controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive Workday or HRIS experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting Workday HCM, Recruiting/Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Time and Absence and Payroll touchpoints.
• Proven experience leading projects, requirements gathering, UAT/regression testing, deployment planning, and stakeholder support.
• Advanced Excel and HR reporting skills; experience with Workday Report Writer, calculations, dashboards, or integrations.
• Prior experience mentoring team members or acting as escalation point for complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HRIS operations across Workday HCM, Recruiting, Time and Absence, Payroll, and reporting.
• Configure, test, and maintain Workday business processes, security, notifications, and reports.
• Lead HRIS projects, requirements gathering, testing, deployment readiness, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage Workday release activities, regression testing, and adoption recommendations.
• Design, validate Workday reports, dashboards, EIBs, and payroll-impacting outputs.
• Ensure SOX-ready controls and governance for HRIS processes.
