Job summary

Signature Healthcare at Home is seeking a Lead Intake Coordinator to join our Federal Way team with one hybrid day at Port Orchard. This full-time, in-office role oversees patient intake and referral operations, ensuring accurate EMR documentation and CMS-compliant processes.

You will supervise intake staff, handle pre-authorizations and insurance checks, and maintain knowledge of community resources. HIPAA compliance and excellent customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two+ years in a healthcare admin role.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Understanding of insurance reimbursement workflows.
• Accurate data entry and strong communication.
• Reliable team player with flexibility.
• Valid driver's license and insurance as needed.
• Basic computer skills and office tech proficiency.
• Experience with HCHB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily patient intake processes and staff.
• Directs referral and intake operations per CMS guidelines.
• Documents communications in the EMR with accuracy.
• Learns and implements new processes as needed.
• Audits referral documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Completes pre-authorizations and insurance checks.
• Maintains knowledge of community resources with team.
• Ensures HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
• Represents Signature Healthcare at Home with professionalism.
