Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently seeking a Superintendent for the Northern Kentucky region. The role involves managing all site activities from permit to closing, coordinating subcontractors, warranties, and ensuring compliance with safety and building standards.

Your focus will be on delivering high-quality homes on schedule and within budget while maintaining an excellent customer experience and coordinating with sales and warranty teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure the highest quality product is delivered on time and within budget.
• Schedule all involved subcontractors for each phase of construction and evaluate their work for compliance with codes and standards.
• Complete each home site on schedule from planning through occupancy, ensuring contract obligations are met.
• Inspect workmanship and halt noncompliant work; authorize payment after thorough inspection.
• Manage the customer experience throughout construction, provide regular progress communications, and address concerns.
