Job summary

PromptCare seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist to set up home-care respiratory products, including high‑tech ventilation, oxygen, and related equipment. This field‑based role combines hands‑on care with leadership, requiring patient advocacy and a positive representation of PromptCare.

Responsibilities extend to a 24/7 basis in coordination with the department Manager. The position is Full‑time, non-exempt, with a 40‑hour workweek and on‑call duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory School.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner state licensure in the employing state.
• RRT certification required.
• CPR-BLS certification current.
• Willing to obtain cross-licensing in other states at company expense.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provides patients and family with timely, accurate information and ensures satisfaction.
• Develops good working relationships with patients, families, and referral sources.
• Plans daily events to maximize time efficiency and minimize travel.
• Assists with scheduling set ups and follow-up visits per policy.
• Coordinates patient discharges with RT Clinical Liaisons.
• Triages field issues per company standards and training policies.
• Ensures proper documentation of patient concerns and corrective actions.
• Maintains knowledge of SOPs and ensures compliance with laws and SOPs.
• Fosters a 'white glove' service culture for patients and families.
• Submits travel expense reports monthly; on-call as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
